The Maricopa County Environmental Services Department’s transfer stations accept bagged or bundled green waste.
Logs and branches must be less than 3 feet long and less than 3 inches in diameter. All green waste must be bundled or placed in black plastic garbage bags. You may use rope, twine, or wire to bundle the material together; bundles must not exceed 50 pounds. There is no limit on the amount of bagged or bundled green waste accepted. Customers will be charged based on the type of load (e.g., car, truck trailer).

Because the holiday is observed on a day that the transfer station is normally closed our staff is given the next business day to observe the holiday. This year (2022), our Transfer Stations will be closed on Saturday 12/24/22 & 12/31/2022 to observe the Christmas and New Year’s Holidays.
Starting October 1, 2019, we will be rolling out a new payment system to accept ONLY debit and credit cards at all Transfer Station facilities. Please note that cash payments will be phased out in October.
