Be advised, starting October 1, 2019, Maricopa County Waste Disposal and Recycling Centers will be rolling out a new payment system to accept ONLY debit and credit cards. Please note that cash payments will be phased out in October.

Tips to make your trip more successful

  • Avoid extremely busy times if possible - avoid the last hour of the day (3:30 - 4:30 p.m.) during the week. Wednesday is typically the lightest traffic day of the week.
  • Necessary tools are provided to you to clean out your vehicle and clean the unloading area before leaving the facility.
  • If you have a load that is going to take a significant amount of time to unload, try to come in early enough to unload by closing time.
  • Separate recyclable materials from the rest of the load to make it easier to off load in the designated recycling areas.
