The Flood Control District of Maricopa County is officially releasing DDMSW 4.6.4d patch on September 17, 2013. The patch also fixes the installation issue with 64-bit Windows 7 operating system.
Upgrading DDMSW 4.6.4 to DDMSW 4.6.4d
After applying DDMSW 4.6.4d patch, the data in DDMSW 4.6.4 will be preserved but it is still highly recommended to back up the project data in your current install of DDMSW before updating it. The following are step-by-step procedures to upgrade to DDMSW 4.6.4d.
Download the Patch. Right-click the Installation File (ZIP) and choose "Save Target As" to download the self-extracting file, FCDMCPATCH464d. EXE, to the installation folder of DDMSW 4.6.4d. (By default, the installation folder is C:\DDMSW464\ST).
Run the Self-Extracting File. After saving the Patch to the same location where DDMSW 4.6.4 is installed, run the file. If the operating system is older than Windows 7, double-click on the FCDMCPATCH464d. EXE. For Windows 7 or newer operating systems, right-click on the FCDMCPATCH464d. EXE and select "Run as administrator." During the upgrade, a windows form will pop-up to show that the patch is installing.
Check if the upgrade is successful. If successful, a message box pops up that reads, "All items for DDMSW Patch were successfully extracted."
Check if the installed version is correct. After the patch has been installed, DDMSW can be opened as usual. To check what version update is installed, click on Help and then select About from the pull-down menu to display the version number.
